I grew up on a coffee and macadamia nut farm in Kona, Hawaii, where long days and hard work instilled a deep work ethic and an early understanding that discipline comes before the fun of the beach. That foundation shaped my career in design. After more than 15 years as a print designer, I recognized the industry’s shift and reinvented myself—returning to school to learn front-end coding to go with a fine art background. As design evolved toward digital, social, and video-driven experiences, I taught myself video editing and motion-based storytelling to stay relevant and effective. Today, as AI reshapes creative workflows, I’m energized by its potential and committed to continual growth.
